Hello, I am Hakan Korkmaz. I live in Marmaris. I graduated from Akdeniz University, Tourism Management department. I managed a travel agency for 7 years and I visited more than 50 countries in the world. Since 2025, I have been running the BestStay.blog website.

My love for travel started when I did Interrail during university. It never stopped. After visiting many places abroad, I came back to Turkey and started to discover the beautiful places here. During this time, I stayed in many hotels, hostels, apartments, guesthouses, and houses. I had the chance to review many places. I enjoyed checking and comparing hotels. So, I decided to share my experiences on this website.

You will usually see my articles in the best format by region or by travel type. Since I have seen many hotels, I can make the “best hotels” list. I do this by sorting by price — from expensive to cheap — so you can see the best hotels on one page.

You spend money for travel or holiday. When you spend this money, you deserve to get the best service from the hotel. So it is important to do good research and read reviews from people who stayed before. My job is to make this easier for you.
